Easy Install and works well. The hitch post does stick out further from the car than necessary (and from what the website photos showed), it would have been better 1" recessed.
Heavy duty. Awesome service and shipping. Ordered hitch on Monday and it showed up on Wednesday. This is no little feat for Montana. Usually takes at least a week or so for anything to show up.

The instructions were great except for the cut dimensions. After watching the installation video it explained that I should follow the cut dimensions and I did. The big bottom trim did not fit and had to do additional cuts to make it fit. I am grateful that there are other reviews on this page that allowed me to get the correct insight. After that minor hiccup I placed the last panel that I cut to the dimensions to fit the hitch and the hole was way too wide and not tall enough to fit. I will end up trying to make them all even and use some sort of trim to make the hole less giant but still disappointed with the final fit and finish. It should function properly but I’m kicking myself that I didn’t do my own measurements and cuts to fit better
Like many before me have said: the hitch is great, but it does not fit all 2016 Discovery Sport models - even though the website confirmed it would fit. The problem is the arches in the under panel that go around the tailpipes. The tube of the hitch is too wide to fit within the plastic arches. I hope etrailer.com creates a cut out template for future customers for this particular issue as it took a long time to figure out and it still is not an ideal fit.
I installed the hitch and it bolted together no problem but I tried to attach the dust cover after trimming it correctly but the trailer hitch was to wide and wouldn’t allow room for it. I cut it up more trying to make it work and ended up ruining the dust cover and throwing it away… good product but bad fit.

You mentioned that you were not able to reattach the dust cover and I wanted to confirm that by dust cover you mean the under-body panel?
Great customer service and quality hitch
Installation went well on my 2019 Discovery Sport HSE. Took about 6 hours. Would have been a lot less trimming if the round crossbar was about 1 and a half inches shorter in length, but the finished product looks great. Thanks,
Install gone wrong. I paid my mechanic to do this install and now it’s going to cost me over $xxx to fix the cosmetic damage. He insists that he followed the instructions and even spoke to the manufacturer for install tips.

This is not the correct way to trim the fascia per the instructions on page 3 step 6 which shows a photo of a 3 inch by 3 and 5 eighths inch square cut out.
First, the trailer hitch was great quality. Shipping was smooth. And the online installation video was super helpful. But installation was such a headache. I have a 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport HSE. Like others in the reviews that have HSEs, the under body trim is not the same as that shown in the video. The hitch is about 2” too wide. The trim was hung up in multiple places when reinstalling. I used a dremel to make all sorts of cuts to the trim to make it fit. Luckily most cuts are hidden under the car but it made what would have been an easy install take hours. I would suggest making a note on the page about HSE models or designing another hitch to fit this model.
Had been looking for a hitch to mount a bike rack for a long time. This design was excellent in that nothing is visible but the receiver portion. The hitch itself is excellent. The instructions and fit did not match the vehicle, a 2016 Land River Discovery Sport HSE. The frame mounting holes aligned perfectly. The problem was after mounting the hitch. The under body panel trim would not fit over the hitch frame on the end plates See pics). It took some time using a die grinder to remove enough material so the trim would fit flush and allow the fasteners to grip. Other issues were the trim templates were not representative of my vehicle. My underbody panel required no trim in the middle.....it cleared the receiver by a long shot. On the lower bumper facia the instructions stated cutting a 3” section out and that was not enough.....3 1/2” was required. . The level of difficulty was considerably higher than described due to the body panel fitment issues. The end results were great, the journey was long and difficult.
